The answer to this question largely depends on your online activities. If your usage primarily involves browsing the web, using navigations, sending emails, and occasional music streaming, 1GB should be sufficient for a day.

However, if your daily activities involve more data-intensive tasks like scrolling through social media, watching videos, video conferencing, video streaming, or online gaming, 1GB may quickly run out.

How to use eSIM on android phone?

Go to Settings and tap on Network & Internet.
Tap on Mobile Network
Tap Download a SIM or eSIM Manager, depending on your device.
Use your phone to scan your QR code provided by MCT_eSIM
Follow the prompts on your screen to complete the setup.

Checking if a iPhone device supports eSIM:

Go to your phone’s Settings and then Mobile Service.
Under SIMs, you can see add eSIM, your phone can use eSIM.

Checking Other Android Phones:

Open Settings and tap About Phone.
Tap Show EID.
If you see a number next to EID, your phone can use eSIM.

How long does it take for eSIM to activate?

After installing eSIM onto your device, the activation process will usually take less than 3 minutes. Sometimes, your eSIM will get activated as soon as you install it. However, there are some rare cases where the status shows as “Activating” for a brief period. In such cases, the eSIM will automatically activate when you reach your destination or establish a connection to the network.
eSIM can also take a maximum of 30 minutes to install, but most should be in minutes. Please make sure you are in an environment with a strong and stable WIFI connection.

When to activate eSIM?

Download and scan QR Code on the day that you are travelling. Once downloaded, day 1 start.
